Born in Leon Guanajuato, Mexico. Ignacio is a Chemical Engineer who graduated from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, Campus Monterrey. He holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a postgraduate studies from University Canada West in Victoria B. C. Ca. He has been professor in the area of Industrial and Systems Engineering, as well as mentor for the incubation program of companies and professor of Innovation and entrepreneurship of the Tecnológico de Monterrey. He also has been Academic Director of Division of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Parque 100 of Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus León.

Ignacio is a self-taught entrepreneur and designer. He has been Founder, Director and Shoe Designer of his own manufacturing company, creating a fertile experimental field where, over 25 years, he has designed and perfected a methodology for generating innovation. An innovative entrepreneurship model based on the philosophy of Design Thinking and Lean Startup. He is specialized in the application of the methodology Design Thinking and Lean Startup, designing and implementing systems of continuous innovation, Business Models, and training entrepreneurs and corporate entrepreneurs.

During his career as a business consultant, has carried out notable consulting work in the area of Innovation, through the design and implementation of new models of management and corporate entrepreneurship.
He is the author of the books “The New Management Revolution – Design Thinking”; Mexico 2012, ISBN: 978-607-00-5643-7.
